Hello Everyone,
Hopefully you are all keeping well and have been able to get your cars out during the recent good weather.
This Sunday 3 July sees the return of our car show and BBQ on Matching Green after an absence of two years. Get your sun hats out and give your cherished vehicle a good polish.
We will have our usual gazebo and members reserved parking area. There is a full program of events so please come along and enjoy the day.
As usual we would always be grateful for any help you can offer either on the Saturday or on the Sunday even if it is only a couple of hours.. If you could help please contact Gus, g_mckie@hotmail.com.

Wednesday June 15th – Mid-Month Meal – The Compasses, Littley Green, CM3 1BU, the 14 members attended this event were treated to an excellent traditional pub meal in a little gem of a pub tucked away in a quiet corner of the Essex countryside. Thanks to Mike Stares for organising this event.
Events coming up
Wednesday 20th July – The Orange Tree, Sawbridgeworth, CM21 0BP.
The club has been to this venue a couple of times in the past and have enjoyed a good evening. This event is being organised by Dennis Northcott please contact Dennis if you would like to attend dennisatnorthcottage@btinternet.com
Tuesday 26th July – Noggin & Natter – The Fox, Matching Tye. As something a little different for members who might not be able to attend our Sunday meeting or just for another get together. This will be just an informal gathering at The fox for a natter and a chance to put the world to rights. We will run this event for a few months to see if members enjoy it.
Sunday 7th August – We are holding a picnic on Matching Green. We held this event last year as the car show had to be cancelled and everyone who attended had a good time despite the inclement weather. More details will follow but put this one in your diary.
Wednesday 17th August – Mid month meal, we are looking for suggestions for a venue, if you have a favourite restaurant or pub please let us know.

FBHVC News
Our humble car show is now being advertised on the FBHVC website, thanks to Wendy Way, head over to their website to check it out along with lots of other interesting articles from their carbon offset scheme to their heritage skills academy.
