Hello Everyone,
Hopefully this newsletter finds you all well, there is definitely a change in the weather over the last couple of weeks with the onset of autumn.
Past Events
Sunday 4th September was our regular Sunday meeting which was well attended and members enjoyed some late summer sunshine.
Wednesday 14th September – Mid-month Meal – Lion & Lamb, Little Canfield. This was the last of our Wednesday evening mid-month meals which was organised by Wendy Way. Only eight members attended this even of which 50% of them were committee members or partners. Unfortunately despite the venue being pleasant the food and service wasn’t up to scratch so we wont be attending this venue again.
Tuesday 27th September – Noggin & Natter – The Fox Matching Tye. This event attracted nine members again with some who are unable to attend our regular meetings. I think this event has generally been well received so we will continue to run it through the winter and then reassess its popularity next year.
Events coming up

We are holding a quiz night with a 60’s theme. A fish & Chip supper is being laid on by the club but you will need to provide your own drinks. A charity raffle will also be held with proceeds being donated to Children in Need. Prizes will include a bottle of Brandy left over from the car show, a jeroboam of Prosecco and Champagne donated by Dennis Northcott.

2 – 4th June 2023 – Weekend away – Caley Hall, Old Hunstanton PE36 6HH. This hotel caters for car clubs with reserved parking. It is within walking distance of the coast and is surrounded by interesting places to visit. This is now full but if you would like to attend please contact Dennis Northcott dennisnorthcottage@btinternet.com who might be able to get some extra rooms.
Friday March 3rd – AGM - Matching Tye Village Hall CM17 0QS. We have had to push the AGM back to March this year as some committee members are escaping the worst of the winter on the pretext of visiting family. To ensure that the club can continue in its present form we need some members to join the committee and help to run the club. Do you want the club to continue as it is? The monthly meals have been quite poorly attended this year, do you want these to continue or change the format?
